Intelligent Planning Path

The Mi Robot Vacuum is a highly intelligent home cleaning device with 12 different sensors,
The three processors track its movement in real-time and calculate the data using simultaneous localization
and mapping (SLAM) algorithm to map out the layout of your home and determine the best cleaning routes.

Laser Distance Sensor (LDS)

Laser Distance Sensor (LDS) allows the robot to scan its surroundings at 360 degrees,
1800 times per second, with the Simultaneous Localization and Mapping algorithm to
map out the interiors of your home and then provides real-time planning routes,
edge cleaning followed by Z-shaped cleaning according to the surroundings

Industry-leading SLAM Algorithm

SLAM algorithm algorithm, also known as simultaneous localization and mapping, is to be used in the United
States NASA rovers, Google driverless cars and other high-tech projects, it is the data based on accurate
distance information and the direction of the gyroscope laser distance sensor acquired odometer data,
accelerometer data, through this algorithm can build a real-time room map, and know exactly what their
location is on the map, and provide a comprehensive protection for path planning.

Completes Cleaning Tasks Efficiently

The Mi robot will clean the area based on the map drawn by the SLAM algorithm and plan the
sweeping path. In cooperation with the sensor, To ensure the cleaning efficiency it will start cleaning
with edge cleaning mode and zigzag cleaning mode. Following the well planned path, it can skirt the
obstacle automatically and thoroughly and efficiently achieve cleaning goal.

Automatic Charging

The robot will go back to the charging base and recharge automatically after finishing
cleaning. When the power is less than 20% it will recharge to 80% and get on with the
unfinished work with the new infrared charging base which has 180 degree and 4m
maximum range infrared coverage, the robot can charge back more accurate.

Powerful and Sturdy

For smoother cleaning, the robot uses powerful Nidec brushless DC motor which delivers up to 1800Oa
air pressure. The main hover brush automatically adjust height to create a tight seal with floor for
throughout dirt pick-up on uneven surfaces.
