Quick setup

Download the Mi app to control your appliances remotely.

When the plug indicator flashes yellow, open the Mi app and touch the "+" icon in the upper-right corner to add the smart plug. Select Wi-Fi network (only 2.4G Wi-Fi is supported) and enter the password. Wait until the indicator turns blue. The smart plug is now ready to use.

* The four steps listed above are applicable for iOS devices. For android devices, there is no need to connect to the hotspot created by the Mi Smart Plug.
*5G Wi-Fi is not supported.
